The Day is Useless Until Iām Home
One week. One film.
In the midst of a remote semester, isolation was demotivating and undoubtedly took a toll on creativity, with few spaces to escape to for imagination. However, this blanket of creative blocks finally lifted when Campus Movie Fest arrived to campus. And just like that, Moviemaking week of Spring 2021 began, where participating students had exactly one week to produce a short film under 5 minutes from beginning to end. This meant writing, casting, shooting, and editing the film all within 7 days, where they would be premiered on thousands of screens across the country.
This short film follows Lily throughout her day, feeling the loneliness of a quarantined world until she finally comes home.
